Beveling Machines

The all new KRAIS MiniMill and HypperMill series beveling machines, delivers maximum power and performance for fast, accurate weld preps on pipes and tubes from ½” I.D. up to 6 “O.D. (12,7 mm – 160 mm) de pending on model and configuration. Facing, beveling and counter boring preparations are possible on all machinable alloy’s including stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, inconel or any others. As well as seal and strength weld removal from heat exchangers.
The rugged design features self accepting torque system and self centering inner clamping, allows one skilled operator to perform the end preps quickly and safely, avoiding the slow and arduous grinding operation.

Electric drive

Electric drive is optional module for all of our MiniMill, HyperMill, MiniCut and 3WTTC tools.

Speed reducing gear box

Optional speed reducer can be used for seal and strength weld removal application for inconel, duplex, super duplex and other hard to machine alloys. It reduces the speed by 3x which increases the power, enabling the machine to cut a thick chip while reducing the cutting time. This combination increase the bit life time significantly, while reducing cut time.
The gear box can be purchased separately, all that’s required is to remove the angle head from the drive and install the reduction drive.

Pneumatic clamping system

Fast pneumatic clamping system (optional) is ideal for manufacturing shops that make a lot of end preps on tube and pipes. It offers quick action, easy to use, increase productivity with no operator fatigue. Fast pneumatic clamping system can be used for tube facing on condensers and heat exchangers, boiler tube panels fabrication, tube sheet seal weld removal and large quantities of tube bevelling.

Auto MiniMill

Auto MiniMill is fully automatic machine with adjustable feed rate, actuated by foot switch, ideal for repetitive cycle works on condensers and heat exchangers. AutoMiniMIll is specially designee for trimming and weld removal.
