• The modified K50 and L70 rolling motors are used with the FlexExpander- specialized expander holder is required (as well a standard K50 can be used).

• Fully ambidextrous for left and right hand operators. Virtually any tube tooling can be used including: tube end facing, tube cutting, drilling, grooving, as well as the support of orbital welding machines.

The FlexExpander rests on a low profile platform with 4 heavy duty wheels, with four yokes for forklift, air treatment unit, adjustable weight capacity, 3D articulated arm, as well as tooling holder.

The all new FlexExpander is engineered to provide unmatched working range, ergonomics & safety in all configurations. The FlexExpander enables the operator to work with tube sheets from minimum 1.5 ft from the floor up to 8.2 ft; the total working range is 6.88 ft.
Three primary features set a new industry standard for achieving this large range. First: built in trapezoidal screw (jack screw) in the column enables the operator to adjust the column 1.64 ft up or down. Second: convertible “Z” arm, which increases the height for another 1.64 ft. Third: the main articulated arm has full three dimensional movement which has a 3.60 ft vertical range.
The FlexExpander gives the operator virtually unlimited options to suite most any tube sheet configuration and beyond.




The FlexExpander is equipped with an integrated weight tensioning system that will accommodate 4.4 to 44 lbs and can be adjusted within seconds.

This wide weight range allows for a multiple tool applications such as: rolling motors, tube end facers, orbital welding, etc.




The FlexExpander design makes it possible to work in the horizontal as well as in the vertical position. In approximately 2 minutes you can re-configure the system to the desired position. The large horizontal range along unmatched flex-ability gives unmatched productivity with one set-up.
