MiniMill 301WTRT Tube Wall Reduction Machine

MiniMill-301-WTRT reduces the wall thickness of tube stubs during heat exchanger retubing. Controlled boring reduces the grip of the expanded joint so that the stub can be removed with a tube drift. The tool is intended for expanded or seized stubs, including joints affected by corrosion bonding, over-expansion or serrated tube ends. The datasheet lists separate tooling and locking jaws for 3/4-inch and 1-inch tubes. Maximum listed drilling depth is 63.5 mm, achieved in three passes. Listed drive data: 1.3 HP, 300 rpm free speed and 43 Nm torque. Confirm jaw selection and the dimensional working range with KRAIS.
